Sac-Tun Port lies since 1988 five miles southwest form Playa del Carmen, in Quintana Roo, close to the Xcaret tourism development. It has been excavated from limestone, has a 1,300 by 650 feet maneuvers dock, with a depth of 45 feet, and an access channel of 980 feet wide.
Given its ideal location and distance from several other touristic destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico and southern US, allows it to be a Home Port for cruise type ships which include the Riviera Maya in their itinerary. The port will also provide the service as port of arrival and departure for ferries.
The cargo component of the Sac-Tun Port expansion has the purpose of handling containerized cargo, as well as general and bulk cargo. Sac-Tun Port expansion is an unique investment opportunity for operators of container ports that require a strategic location for transshipment of containers bound for Central America, the islands of the Caribbean Sea, as well as US and Mexican ports located in the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean, in addition to providing the supplies required by the numerous tourism developments that are located in the Riviera Maya, one of the most important tourist areas in the world, and export of the regions products.
The La Blanca mine, with a 1,112 acres extension is located in the state of Campeche along Federal Highway 186 which runs from Chetumal to Villahermosa. The property contains important mineral reserves of superficially available gypsum and limestone as confirmed by geophysical prospective studies and geochemical and petrographic analysis.
This 3,415-acre property in the state of Yucatán is located 25 miles southwest of Mérida. It includes five water wells or “cenotes”, two of which are caverns and the other three are open surface cenotes. The property is covered by low jungle, timber trees and wildlife. The property if being targeted to developers in the hunting tourism/gaming, agricultural, forestry, livestock and energy sectors.
This 490-acre extension with 6,035 feet of beachfront is located 13.5 miles southwest from Playa del Carmen.
