Carlos F. de la Mora Navarrete
Is a Civil Engineer from the National Autonomous University in Mexico (UNAM). He carried out postgraduate studies at the École Nationale de Ponts et Chaussées, at the University of París, and at the Institut International d'Administration Publique (IIAP) in París, France. He also holds a postgraduate degree in finance from the London Business School, in England.
He worked for 25 years at Empresas ICA, S.A. de C.V., mostly in the finance and industrial sector divisions within the group. He has been a businessman in the residential (real estate) construction as well as urban construction sectors, and participates as a consultant and board member for several firms.
Gabriel A. Ibarra Elorriaga
Is a Mechanical Electrical Engineer from the National Polytechnical Institute (IPN). He carried out postgraduate studies in Design and Manufacturing at the École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers, at Chalons in Champagne, France, and holds a diploma in Executive Corporate Management from the Pan-American Executive Management Institute (IPADE) in Mexico City.
He worked for 25 years at in the business development group at Empresas ICA, S.A. de C.V., having held, amongst other positions, the posts of Advisor to the President, Corporate Director for Promotion, Corporate Director for Development, Business Development Director at ICA Infrastructure, Business Development Director and Marine Platforms Director at Industria del Hierro, S.A. de C.V. He worked for 8 years at Nacional Financiera S.N.C (NAFIN) (Mexico’s Development Bank), acting as Deputy Director for Capital Goods Industry, Prime Mover and Transportation Equipment, as well as 4 years at the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), as Head of the Office for Capital Goods Programming, 2 years at the Electrical Research Institute as a Researcher, and 1 year as Process Engineer at Ford Motor Company.
Juan Casillas Ruppert
Is a Mechanical Electrical Engineer from the National Autonomous University in Mexico (UNAM) and holds a Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Science from Northwestern University, in Evanston Illinois, USA.
With more than 20 years of experience in strategic business consulting, mostly focused on market entry, operation and expansion of foreign companies into Mexico, including corporate and government affairs issues, has ample experience in the energy (hydrocarbons, electrical and renewables), infrastructure, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, security, financing and mining sectors, amongst others.
Has worked both in Mexico as well as the US and is familiar with regulations, guidelines and operational requirements for the operation of foreign firms or entities.
He is an active participant in several Engineering associations and organizations.
Artemio Santos Santos
Is a Chemical Engineer from the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon (UANL), and holds a Postgraduate degree in Food Technology from the University of Kyoto in Japan as well as a diploma in Executive Corporate Management from the Pan-American Executive Management Institute (IPADE) in Mexico City.
He has been a businessman in the food industry in Cancún, Quintana Roo, since 1984, he cofounded and Presided the Cancún Central Procurement Market, he Presided Cancun’s branch of the National Business Owners Association (COPARMEX), and Presided the Caribbean Business Coordinating Council.
In the public sector he has carried out the posts of Tourism and Economic Development Secretary (Minister) for the State of Quintana Roo; General Director for the Cancun Tourism Development Trust (OVC), General Director for Promotion of the Mexican Council for Tourism Promotion (CPTM) and Representative of the State of Quintana Roo in Mexico City.
Mario Leal Campos
Is a Mechanical Engineer from the National Polytechnical Institute (IPN). He carried out a specialization program for Manufacturing and Design at DEMAG Co in Duisburg, Germany. He founded and directed Reductores y Accesorios Industriales S.A. de C.V., a speed reducer manufacturer, and MALECAMetalurgica S.A. de C.V., a company dedicated to non-ferrous metal castings. He presided the San Luis Potosí Industrial Association (IPAC).
In the public sector he has carried out several posts beginning in 1988, amongst them; Federal Deputy, Municipal President for the City of San Luis Potosí, and Local Deputy. In the diplomatic arena he has held the post of Counsel General for Mexico in Hong Kong from 2002 through 2008 and Mexican Ambassador to Chile from 2008 through 2013. He currently advises several companies and is a partner at Grupo Promotor de Energias Limpias S.A. de C.V. (GPEL), a renewable energy company, and is the Mexican representative for the Chinese (Hong Kong) Company CW HKCPA, promoting commerce between Mexico and China.
Fernando de la Mora Navarrete
Is a Business Administrator from the National Autonomous University in Mexico (UNAM). He holds a Masters Degree in Administrations and Development from the International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University, at The Hague, Netherlands, a Diploma in Urban Planning and Environmental Protection from the University of Oslo in Norway, as well as a Diploma in Japanese Studies from the Institute for International Studies and Training, in Fujinomiya, Japan.
He founded and was General Director of SEPRIN, S.A. de C.V., a company focusing on international trade. He has been Deputy Commercial Advisor at the BANCOMEXT (Mexican Development Bank for International Commerce) office in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Deputy Commercial Advisor at the BANCOMEXT office in Atlanta, Georgia, USA; General Superintendent for Industrial Promotion and Import Substitutions at PEMEX (the Mexican National Petroleum Company) and Deputy General Director for Planning and Coordination of Small and Medium Size Business at the Ministry of Economy.
